- 175 g mango(s), peeled and weighed
- 825 g pear(s), aromatic, peeled, weighed
- 1 kg gelling sugar, 1:1

Peel the mango, remove the stone, and finely puree the flesh. Wash, peel, and core the pears. Finely chop the flesh and mix it with the mango puree and the preserving sugar in a large saucepan. Cover and let stand overnight. Bring to a boil and simmer for 4 minutes, stirring continuously. Immediately fill the jam into hot, rinsed twist-off jars, seal tightly, and let stand upside down for 5 minutes. This recipe yields approximately 6 jars of 230 ml each.
