Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 4 large pears
- 6 tbsp lemon juice
- 500 ml pear juice
- 1 tbsp vanilla pudding powder
- 6 tbsp pear schnapps
- 400 g mascarpone
- 300 g low-fat curd cheese
- 90 g powdered sugar
- 10 tbsp orange juice
- 1 ½ tsp cinnamon
- 2 drops butter-vanilla flavoring
- Ladyfingers
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 30 minutes
Peel, quarter, and thinly slice the pears. Mix with lemon juice. Bring the pear juice to a boil. Mix the pudding mix with the schnapps until smooth and stir into the juice. Bring to a boil, add the pears, and simmer over low heat. Let cool. Mix the mascarpone, low-fat quark, orange juice, flavoring, and cinnamon with the powdered sugar. Line a rectangular dish (approx. 35 x 25 cm) with a layer of sponge fingers. Spread the pear compote and then the cream on top, smoothing it down. Refrigerate for several hours, preferably for 1 day. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve.
