Pear Wedge
The perfect pear wedge recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 8 Pears
- 1 Lemon
- 8 Cloves
- 2 Cinnamon sticks
- Glucose
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- Peel and quarter the pears and core. Put the pear wedges in a saucepan and pour in enough water to cover the pears.
- Halve the lemon, squeeze it into the pot and add it. Add cinnamon sticks, a little sugar, cloves and vanilla sugar as well. Cook the compote lightly.
- Let it cool down; take out the cloves, cinnamon sticks and lemon because of the bitter taste.
