Pears with hot chocolate sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 jar pear(s)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • some cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp pistachios, chopped
  • ¼ liter whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 200 g chocolate, bitter
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Drain the pears. Boil down 1/8 cup pear juice with lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon. Brush the pears with the juice and let it cool briefly. Bring the cream, honey, and vanilla sugar to a boil. Add the chocolate in small pieces and dissolve, stirring constantly. Arrange the pears on small plates, top with the hot sauce, and sprinkle with pistachios. Tip: You can also use ready-made chocolate sauce!
