  • 1 beefsteak tomato(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 1 pepper, green
  • 1 shallot(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ½ bunch coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp oil, neutral
  • ½ lime(s)
  • Sea salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Typical Chilean sauce

Cut the tomato, bell pepper, chili pepper, and shallot into small cubes. Pick the coriander leaves from the stems and chop finely. Crush the garlic cloves with a little salt. Place everything in a bowl, mix with the lime juice, and season with salt. Let it sit for about half an hour before serving. Pebre is served with almost everything in Chile: as an appetizer spread on bread or as a side sauce for meat, fish, or fried potatoes.
