Boil and peel eggs – that’s how it works
- If you don’t have an egg cooker, you can also cook the eggs in a saucepan. To do this, use a sufficiently large pot with cold water.
- Put the eggs in and let the water boil. Of course, you can also place the eggs in the boiling water first, but this will take more time.
- If you take the egg out of the water after about 3 minutes, it is soft-boiled. After about 6 minutes, the egg white is hard-boiled, and the yolk is still runny. After 9 minutes the egg is hard-boiled.
Peel eggs with a trick in seconds
- Take the egg out of the saucepan and put it in a glass.
- Fill the glass halfway with cold water and place your hand flat on the opening.
- Shake the jar quickly in all directions for about 5 seconds.
- The shell can then usually be detached from the egg in one piece.
