  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

Russian specialty – similar to tortellini

Mix all the ingredients together. Add enough flour to make a dough that’s easy to roll out. Knead the dough for a long time and thoroughly. Roll out the dough on a pelmeni baking tray (available in Russian shops or well-stocked household goods stores, for example). Mix the ingredients for the filling together as well. Fill the indentations with the minced meat. Roll out the dough again, place it on the baking tray or on the minced meat, and press it down with a rolling pin. Press the pelmeni out of the tray and boil it in salted water for 5-10 minutes. In Russia, they eat it with sour cream and dip it in. Not everyone likes it. I love it… I got it from my Russian friend!
