Penne and sour cream pan with Leberkäse (meatloaf), chives, peppers and cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 point penne
  • salt water
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 3 slices of Leberkäse
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 slices of cheese (Gouda)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the penne in salted water according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, cut the Leberkäse into medium-sized pieces and fry in a large pan until lightly browned and crispy. Then dice the bell pepper and finely chop the chives, add to the Leberkäse, and fry for about 10 minutes. Add the cooked pasta and mix. Add 1 cup of sour cream, season with salt and pepper. Finally, add the chopped Gouda cheese and let it melt.
