Penne with beef and cranberry sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250g penne
  • salt water
  • 150g rump steak(s)
  • 3 tbsp cranberries from the jar
  • 150 ml cream
  • 1 handful of walnuts, chopped
  • Salt and pepper from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the penne in salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, cut the rump steak into small strips and sear briefly. Season with plenty of salt and freshly ground pepper. Remove the meat from the pan and pour in the cream. Season the sauce with salt and pepper and stir in the cranberries until the sauce turns a beautiful light red. Now add the cooked pasta and the meat to the pan with the sauce and mix well. Finally, arrange everything on a plate and sprinkle with the walnuts. If you like it spicy, season with plenty of pepper again.
