Penne with Brazil nut sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150g penne
  • 100 ml sweet cream
  • 150 ml vegetable stock
  • 2 tbsp flour (rice flour)
  • herbal salt
  • pepper
  • 100 g nuts (Brazil nuts), ground
  • 20 g Parmesan, grated
  • 30 g nuts (Brazil nuts), coarsely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Combine the cream and vegetable stock in a saucepan and stir the flour into the cold liquid. Bring to a boil. Season to taste. Stir in the ground Brazil nuts. Drain the pasta and divide among plates. Pour the nut sauce over the pasta, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped Brazil nuts, and serve.
