Pepper and onion salad

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 g bell pepper(s), red
  • 150 g onion(s)
  • n. B. Thyme
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • 6 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

A delicious starter or side dish. Pairs well with pasta or potatoes.

Finely chop the bell peppers and onion and place them in a small bowl. Season generously with thyme. Then add salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil to taste. Stir the vegetables over and over again with a spoon for 2 minutes. Then let them stand for at least 1 hour – important! So prepare them well in advance of the main course.
