Pepper – Mushroom – Patties

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g mushrooms, clean and quarter
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green, quarter, deseed, cut into fine strips
  • 1 yellow bell pepper(s), quarter, deseed, cut into fine strips
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ onion(s), finely diced
  • 1 garlic clove(s), finely chopped
  • 1 bunch of parsley, finely chopped
  • ½ tsp herbs, Italian
  • ½ tbsp vinegar
  • ½ jar white wine
  • 4 puff pastry patties, for baking
  • Salt
  • Pepper, from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

A vegetarian dish

Preheat the oven and bake the patties according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Heat the oil in a frying pan and sauté the mushrooms, bell peppers, onion, and garlic until well browned. Add the parsley and season with salt and pepper. Deglaze with vinegar and white wine. Cover and sauté for 15-20 minutes. Season to taste. Remove the patties from the oven and arrange on warm plates. Fill with the vegetables and arrange the remaining filling around the patties. Serve immediately while hot. Serve with a fresh salad. Variation: Refine the vegetables with a few spoonfuls of cream or crème fraîche. Then reduce the wine by the amount of cream that corresponds to the cream and omit the vinegar.
