Peppers – Onions – Salad

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 vegetable onion(s)
  • 4 small bell peppers or 3 large
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, black from the mill
  • possibly garlic
  • possibly herbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 15 minutes

for the barbecue party or for pan-fried dishes

In a bowl, combine the olive oil with salt and freshly ground black pepper. We also like to add 1-2 cloves of garlic. Peel the onion and cut into thin rings or thin wedges. Remove the white pith and seeds from the bell peppers, then cut into thin strips. Mix everything well and let stand for at least 12 hours. Stir well and season to taste before serving (if you like, you can add herbs).
