Peppery cranberry jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g cranberries, dried
  • 350 ml water
  • 200 g gelling sugar 1:1
  • 2 pinches Kampot pepper, ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 7 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 17 minutes

Substitute for cranberries

Chop the cranberries into small pieces and bring to a boil with the water. Once cooled, add the gelling sugar, bring back to a boil, and simmer for 4 minutes. Stir in the pepper and pour the jam into sterilized jars. This jam is intended as a substitute for cranberries and tastes great with game and cheese.
