Petterson – Pancake Cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 5 eggs
  • 400 ml milk
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 250 g flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 100 ml mineral water
  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • jam
  • n. B. Fruits

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

The one Petterson makes for Findus’ birthday

Whisk the eggs, half of the milk, sugar, and salt. Gradually stir in the flour, then add the rest of the milk and the water. Stir well and let the batter rest for about 30 minutes. Cook the batter in a pan until golden yellow. Let the pancakes cool completely, then spread them alternately with the whipped cream and jam, and stack them on top of each other. You can decorate the cake with fruit at this point, but it’s not necessary. Tip: If you don’t want to make the cake version, you can serve the finished pancakes as is and add jam/Nutella/sugar, or fried bacon cubes, or minced meat and mushroom sauce, depending on your taste. Anything goes well with them.
