Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg beef goulash
  • 500 g onion(s)
  • oil
  • Salt and pepper, seasoned
  • ½ liter meat broth, instant
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 6 cloves
  • some flour

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the meat. Peel and roughly chop the onions, then sauté them in hot oil in a pan. Add the meat, fry briefly, season with salt, and add the meat broth. Add the bay leaves and cloves, cover, and simmer over low heat for about 1 1/2 hours. Then thicken with flour and season with salt and pepper. Serve with boiled potatoes and gherkins.
