Pickled sheep's cheese

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 ½ pkt. feta cheese or sheep’s cheese
  • 2 points sauce (salad dressing, Italian style)
  • lots of olive oil
  • 1 jar olives, green, e.g. stuffed with peppers
  • 7 cloves garlic
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 10 minutes

Feta with olives and garlic

Fill a bowl, can, or similar container with plenty of olive oil (the mixture should be completely covered). Stir in the salad dressing. Slice the garlic cloves very thinly and the olives into slices. Dice the feta fairly finely. Add everything to the seasoned olive oil, season with pepper, and mix well. Let it sit for a few hours or overnight. It tastes great with baguette, etc., and is perfect for bringing to barbecues. You can, of course, use less garlic.
