Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 ciabatta or baguette
  • 175 g cream cheese
  • ¾ red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 spring onion(s) or 1/2 bunch of chives
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

a delicious and fresh bread for picnics, bike rides, canoe trips or just like that in summer

If necessary, reheat the bread, then slice horizontally and let cool. Finely dice or round the bell pepper, garlic, and spring onion, mix with salt, pepper, and the cream cheese. Spread this cheese mixture on the bottom half of the bread, place the top half on top, and press down lightly. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Cut into thick (approx. 1.5 cm) slices before eating. The amount of cheese mixture depends somewhat on the size of the bread.
