Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 175 g flour
- 175 g bread roll(s), grated
- 175 g sugar
- 200 g margarine
- 200 g almond(s), ground
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp rum or milk
- some vanilla sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- e.g. jam (cherry), for spreading
- Fat for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
Knead the first nine ingredients into a dough. Chill for about 1 hour. Line a greased springform pan (round baking pan) with two-thirds of the dough. Spread the cherry jam on top. Sprinkle the remaining dough over the top. Place the cake in the center of the preheated oven and bake for about 40 to 50 minutes at 180°C. The cake tastes even better after 2-3 days. This is my son’s favorite.
