Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pike
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 3 carrots
  • 16 potatoes, small
  • bacon
  • lemon(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil
  • butter
  • Vinegar
  • rosemary

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Season the pike with salt and pepper, and place it on a baking sheet drizzled with olive oil. Lard the top of the pike with bacon. Quarter the potatoes (preferably small, round ones) and place them on the baking sheet. Clean the carrots and slice them into strips, then slice the spring onions into rings and arrange them on the baking sheet. Arrange lemon slices and sliced ​​bacon on top. Season the vegetables with salt and sprinkle with fresh rosemary needles, if possible. Cook the whole thing in the oven at 180°C for about 45 minutes. Just before the end of cooking, add a few knobs of butter, and you’re done. Serve with a fresh leaf salad and wild rice.
