Pile of Walnuts
The perfect pile of walnuts recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 Egg
- 120 g Butter
- 70 g Sugar
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1 Msp Nutmeg
- 1 pinch Salt
- 100 g Dark chocolate couverture
- 200 g Walnut halves
- Icing sugar for dusting
- 1 Mix the flour with the baking powder, place on a work surface, make a well and add the egg.
- 2 Place the butter in flakes on the flour, sprinkle the sugar, the cinnamon, the salt and the nutmeg on top and quickly knead the ingredients from the outside to the inside to form a smooth dough.
- 3 Wrap the dough in cling film and leave it for about 1 hour. in the refrigirator.
- 4 Form the dough into a 3cm thick roll on a floured work surface and cut 1cm thick slices. Turn the slices into balls and place on a baking sheet with baking paper.
- 5 Press the balls lightly and bake them in the oven preheated to 180 ° C for 10-15 minutes and let them sit on a wire rack.
- 6 Melt the grated couverture in a water bath, put it in a small piping bag and draw lines over the cookies. Cover with walnut halves, let the couverture dry and dust with powdered sugar. Enjoy the meal!!!!
