Pineapple with vanilla sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large pineapple or 1 large can of pineapple rings
  • 1 pc. dessert sauce (vanilla flavor)
  • 100 g whipped cream
  • 4 tbsp port wine
  • 1 tbsp pistachios, chopped
  • possibly ice cream (chocolate ice cream)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Remove the pineapple core. Quarter, peel, and chop the fruit. Whip the cream until stiff and fold it into the prepared custard. Season with port wine. Arrange the pineapple, pour over the sauce, and serve garnished with pistachios. If desired, you can also serve with a scoop of chocolate ice cream.
