Pink Sangria

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bottle of wine (rosé wine)
  • 200 ml orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 lemon(s), organic
  • 1 orange(s), organic
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • Ice cubes, e.g. from orange juice
  • Mineral water, for dilution

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Wash the lemon and orange, quarter them, and slice them. Mix the orange juice and sugar in a bowl or punch bowl. Add the cinnamon and citrus fruits, and pour in the wine. Chill the sangria for at least an hour. Then remove the cinnamon stick and add the ice cubes. Pour the sangria into decorative glasses and serve with a straw. On very hot days, dilute with a little mineral water if desired. Grape juice is a great way to make a non-alcoholic sangria. Alternatively, you can make an original sangria with red wine, or a lighter, summery version with white wine. Cheers!
