Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 75 g sugar
- 1 tbsp, heaped cornstarch
- 60 ml water
- 60 ml lemon juice
- possibly food coloring

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 7 minutes; Total time approx. 12 minutes
suitable for fondant
Combine the sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan and stir in the lemon juice. Add the water and food coloring and stir until no lumps remain. Bring everything to a boil, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens. Let it cool slightly, and you’re ready to perfectly depict water or blood on themed cakes. A little more cornstarch or water can make the mixture thicker or thinner.
