Pizza Burger
The perfect pizza burger recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- Dough:
- 435 gr Flour
- 20 gr Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 40 gr Butter
- 170 ml Lukewarm water
- 1 dice Yeast
- 1 Egg white + 1 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp Sesame
- Tomato sauce:
- 0,5 tube Tomato paste
- 100 ml Water
- 1 tbsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- Covering:
- 200 gr Grated Gouda
- 1 size Onion
- 1 Can Tuna
- Dissolve the yeast in 170 ml of lukewarm water. Put the flour, sugar, salt, butter and the whole egg in a bowl. Gradually add the yeast water mixture and knead into a smooth dough. The dough should no longer stick to your hands and work surface. Let rest for 1 hour.
- After an hour, knead the dough again and shape it into 100 gram balls, place on a baking sheet and flatten it a little. Let go for another hour. Then mix the egg white with water and brush the burgers with it. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Bake at 190 degrees for about 15 minutes. The burgers should easily take on color but not be in the oven for too long as they should be put in the oven for another 10 minutes afterwards. Let cool after baking.
- In the meantime, stir in the tomato sauce. If it is too thick add a little more water.
- Now cut through a burger roll, spread with tomato sauce (on both sides) and top with tuna, onions and Gouda cheese.
- Fold up and bake again at 220 degrees for 7-10 minutes in the oven until crispy. The delicious pizza burgers are ready! You can of course fill and fill them as you like :))
