Pizza dough

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 250 ml water, lukewarm
  • 375 g spelt flour (type 1050)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp pizza seasoning

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Combine all ingredients to form a yeast dough. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and pliable. This amount will make one thick or two thin pizza bases. Spread with the pizza sauce (found in my other recipes) and top with your favorite toppings. Finally, sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (convection oven) for about 20-25 minutes. Note: If you don’t like spelt flour, you can of course use regular wheat flour (Type 405).
