Pizza dough with yeast

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 800 g flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 2 cubes of yeast
  • 300 ml water
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Combine flour, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl. Crumble yeast cubes into 2 large cups. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar and 1 tablespoon of water to each cup and stir. Place the cups in a lukewarm water bath and wait until the yeast has risen. Heat the water and olive oil (lukewarm). Now add the risen yeast to the mixing bowl, stir briefly, then add the lukewarm water with olive oil and knead. Finally, cover the yeast dough and let it rise for another 15 minutes at about 30 degrees Celsius. After 15 minutes, knead again and roll out. Top as desired. With 800g of flour, you get two baking sheets if you roll out the dough thinly. Tip: Place the yeast dough in the oven to rise, set the lowest temperature (50°C) and clamp a towel in the oven door.
