Finger food for every party
Combine the ground meat, onion, vegetables, egg, and cheese. Make sure the vegetables and onion are very finely chopped so the meatballs don’t fall apart later. Soften the bread roll and add it to the mixture, or add breadcrumbs. Season the mixture to taste. Let the “dough” rest for about 2 hours to absorb the flavor. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan). Form small balls from the ground meat and place them in a lightly buttered dish. Bake the meatballs in the oven for 20 minutes. I also like to add chopped salami or ham, but the sky’s the limit! The mixture also works great on half a bread roll and put it in the oven. It tastes different every time, but it’s always delicious!
