- 1 jar mushrooms, small, whole heads
- 1 bell pepper(s), diced (or 1 handful from the frozen section)
- 1 pack of cheese (Edam, Gouda etc. approx. 200g), coarsely shredded
- some sauce (salsa sauce)
- 1 class can/n tomatoes (Pizza tomatoes)
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Combine all ingredients, from the ground beef to the cheese. I use a little more salami and cooked ham, making sure the salami is thicker so I can dice it nicely. Pour the dough into a deep casserole dish or similar. Mix the can of pizza tomatoes with a little salsa sauce and pour it onto the dough. Bake in the oven at about 170 degrees Celsius for about 1 hour. Also great for the microwave in a microwave-safe container with a lid: cook at 600 watts for about 20 minutes, let stand for 5 minutes. It goes well with rice or white bread and, of course, Italian vegetables (or use frozen vegetables for a simpler dish). The quantities can be easily adjusted to suit your taste—and it’s something different. I’ve made it for birthdays, and since no one had heard of it, it was a hit. Preparation is always good.
