Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 5 large tomatoes
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 700 g tartar or mixed minced meat
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tsp thyme, dried
  • 1 tsp oregano, dried
  • 1 n. B. salt and pepper
  • 1 shot of milk, 0.3%
  • ½ bunch basil

Low fat, low calorie

Peel and wash the tomatoes, cut into wedges, and remove the seeds. Peel and quarter the peppers, remove the seeds, wash them, and cut them into strips. Peel and finely chop the onions. Knead the minced meat, garlic, egg whites, and spices together, season with salt and pepper. Briefly sauté the onions, peppers, and tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and add a splash of 0.3% milk. Place a Teflon baking tray or baking foil on the tray. Shape the dough into an oblong loaf, flatten slightly, and make a hollow lengthwise. Spread the vegetable mixture on top. Preheat oven to 225°C (425°F). Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes. In the meantime, rinse the basil and pick off the leaves. Cut the pizza into pieces and sprinkle with basil. Serve with a mixed Italian salad, white bread, or ciabatta.
