Pizza Popeye

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 pack of pizza dough
  • 150 g crème fraîche
  • 200 g leaf spinach, frozen
  • 2 slices of cooked ham
  • ½ onion(s)
  • 150 g mozzarella, grated
  • n. B. herbs, fresh
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Pizza without tomato sauce

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat). Defrost the spinach in the microwave. Roll out the pizza dough on a baking sheet, spread with crème fraîche, and season with salt and pepper. If you like, you can also sprinkle fresh chopped herbs on top. The spinach should be squeezed out a little in a sieve to reduce the amount of water. This works best with a tablespoon. Cut the cooked ham into small squares and cut the onion into small cubes or half rings, depending on your taste. Distribute the spinach, cooked ham, and onion on the pizza. Then sprinkle the mozzarella over the pizza. You can decide whether you prefer more or less cheese. You can, of course, use a different cheese or mix different ones. I prefer mozzarella because it’s nice and mild and not as overpowering. The pizza takes 15-20 minutes in our oven and is super quick to prepare.
