  • 1 can pizza sauce or pizza tomatoes
  • 1 large garlic clove(s)
  • 4 sprigs of fresh basil
  • 1 tsp pizza seasoning, alternatively 1⁄2 tsp oregano and 1⁄2 tsp thyme
  • 150 g diced ham or thin slices of salami, or vegetables
  • 200 g grated cheese (e.g. mozzarella)
  • e.g. fat or oil for the mold
  • e.g. Parmesan, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Party recipe

Finely chop the basil and garlic clove. Roll out the pizza dough, turn it 180 degrees so that the paper is facing up, and then peel off the paper. Cut the dough into squares with sides measuring approximately 3 centimeters. In a bowl, add the chopped garlic and basil to the pizza sauce, along with 1 teaspoon of pizza seasoning. Then add the ham cubes and grated cheese and mix everything together briefly. Divide the pizza dough into three portions and stir in. Thoroughly grease a Bundt cake pan and add the prepared mixture in layers, pressing each layer down slightly. Smooth out the top layer and press down lightly as well, then bake the pizza bread at 200°C top/bottom heat (180°C fan oven) for approximately 30-40 minutes. Let the baked pizza pull-apart bread cool for a few minutes, then place a plate on top, rotate the pan 180 degrees, and remove it from the pan. Optionally, garnish with some grated Parmesan and a few basil leaves. A delicious pizza, but prepared in an original way – namely, in the form of a pull-apart bread, also known as monkey bread. A guaranteed eye-catcher for parties and brunches.
