Pizza spread

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 ml tomato(s), pureed
  • 3 onions
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • Salt
  • possibly spice(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

ingeniously simple and totally delicious

Place the passata and oil in a pot. Peel and dice the onions. Add them to the tomatoes and season with salt to taste. If desired, you can also add pizza seasoning, etc. Bring to a boil and simmer gently over low heat for about 20 minutes until it forms a kind of “porridge.” Stir frequently. This spread is enough for one pizza tray. I always make my own yeast dough base. Once it’s rolled out on the tray, I pour the spread on top and spread it evenly over the dough. Then top the pizza as usual and bake. It tastes absolutely delicious! The spread can, of course, also be made in larger batches and then frozen in portions!
