Pizza with green asparagus and Black Forest ham

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 roll(s) of pizza dough
  • 500 g asparagus, green
  • 2 onions
  • 6 radishes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 200 g Gouda, thinly sliced
  • 100 g Gouda, grated
  • 10 slices of Black Forest ham
  • some basil
  • oregano
  • possibly tomato sauce
  • some pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic. Peel the asparagus if desired and cut into approximately 1 cm long pieces. Slice the radishes. Cut the ham into small pieces. Roll out the dough and cover it evenly with sliced ​​Gouda cheese to keep it dry and crispy. If you like, you can spread tomato sauce on the cheese. Spread the asparagus, onions, radishes, and garlic on the pizza, then top with the ham and season with freshly ground pepper, basil, and oregano. Salt is not necessary because of the ham. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake on the middle rack of an oven preheated to 210°C for approximately 20 minutes. Finally, place on the top rack and grill for 5 minutes until the cheese is crispy.
