Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 400 g flour
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • salt and pepper
  • 8 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 500 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 200g salami
  • 200 g cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

Mix the flour and yeast, gradually stir in 300 ml of lukewarm water, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 6 tablespoons of oil. Knead the dough until it is no longer sticky. It should be soft but pliable. Dust with flour, cover, and let rise for about 30 minutes. Finely dice the onion, sauté in 2 tablespoons of oil, add the tomatoes, and simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Stir in the basil and season the tomato sauce with salt and pepper. Cut 200 g of salami into thin strips. Oil 3 round pizza pans (30 cm diameter). Divide the dough into thirds, roll each out to the size of the pan, and place on the pizza pans. Spread the tomato sauce on top. Place the salami strips on top and sprinkle with cheese. Let rise again. Bake the pizza in a hot oven at 225 °C on the middle rack. Instead of the 3 pans, you can also use one large baking tray.
