Plum and Mirabelle Jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g plum(s), peeled and pitted
  • 500 g mirabelle plums, peeled and pitted
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1
  • some cinnamon
  • some water

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cook the mirabelle plums and plums with a little water until soft, stirring occasionally. The water is important to prevent the fruit from burning. Then remove from the heat, puree, and season with cinnamon. Add the gelling sugar and simmer for another 3 minutes. Immediately pour into boiled jars, seal tightly, and turn upside down for 5 minutes. Let cool.
