Plum and Sour Cream Cake
The perfect plum and sour cream cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the dough:
- 250 g Flour
- 1 packet Dry yeast
- 25 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 Egg
- 100 ml Warm milk
- 50 g Butter
For covering:
- 500 g (about 15 pieces) Plums
- 1 cups Sour cream
- 2 tbsp Sugar
For the dough:
- Sift the flour into a bowl, add the dry yeast and mix.
- Add sugar, vanilla sugar and salt.
- Add egg, milk and butter and knead everything.
- Cover the dough and keep it warm for about 30 minutes until it has visibly enlarged.
- Knead the dough well again and roll it out in a greased springform pan.
For covering:
- Wash, halve and core the plums. Then spread on the dough.
- Bake for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees.
- Mix the sour cream and sugar, spread onto the warm cake after baking.
