Pear ice cream

Spread the love

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 500 g pear(s), ripe
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 125 ml milk
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 egg(s)
  • Lemon juice from one lemon

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash the pears, peel them thinly, cut them into quarters, and remove the cores. Cut the pears into small pieces. Place the pears in a tall container. Add the milk, cream, sugar, honey, egg, and lemon juice. Puree the ingredients using a hand blender. The pear ice cream mixture can now be poured into the ice cream maker. If you want to add pear brandy (about 2 cl), do this shortly before the ice cream is ready in the ice cream maker. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, you can also pour the mixture into a container with the largest possible surface area. Then place the mixture in the freezer and stir every 15-20 minutes. The more often you do this, the creamier the ice cream will be.
