Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 rolls, old
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 50 g fat
  • 75 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 500 g plum(s)
  • Fat

Instructions

inexpensive and easy

Slice stale rolls, then pour lukewarm milk over them. Beat the butter, sugar, and egg yolks with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add the breadcrumb mixture and mix, then fold in the beaten egg whites. Place the pitted plums in a baking dish. Spread the breadcrumb mixture over the top. Place pats of butter on top. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 50 minutes. I’ve also tried it with fresh cherries. It can also be made with frozen fruit.
