Wash the plums, drain, cut open sideways, and remove the stones. Then place the plums in a greased baking dish. For the crumble, melt the butter and pour it into the flour mixed with sugar and cinnamon (optional). Crumble the flour and fat mixture into crumbles with a fork. Then spread the crumble evenly over the plums. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes. The crumble is best served warm. Ice cream and whipped cream are the finishing touches. The crumble also works well with apples. Peel the apples, quarter them, and cut out the cores. Cut the quarters into thin wedges. Drizzle the apple wedges with lemon juice and place them in the greased baking dish. The dessert also tastes delicious with gooseberries or blackberries.
