Plums with nut snow cap

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 plum(s), dark
  • 1 egg white
  • n. B. Cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp powdered sugar
  • 15 g walnut kernels

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Pour the egg whites into a mixing bowl. Add the cinnamon. Beat the egg whites with a mixer until stiff peaks form. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Chop the walnuts on a glass-bottomed plate. Mix the nuts into the beaten egg whites and stir in the sugar. Taste for sweetness. Halve and pit the washed plums. Spread the nut mixture over the plum halves. Place the halves on a baking rack lined with parchment paper. Bake in the hot oven for about 30 minutes. Wedge a wooden spoon into the oven door to help the beaten egg whites dry faster. Arrange the baked plums on a platter, garnish, and serve. The delicious, warm flesh harmonizes beautifully with the crunchy nut snow. 105 kcal per serving
