Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g pointed cabbage, finely grated
  • 200 g carrot(s), finely grated
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 200 g ham (salmon ham), fine strips
  • 350 ml milk
  • 500 ml stock (chicken stock)
  • 2 tsp soy sauce, light
  • e.g. lemongrass and ginger
  • e.g. lemon pepper and coriander, ground
  • 4 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • chili powder
  • Oil (peanut oil and sesame oil)
  • 2 carrots, cut into strips

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Sauté the ham strips, shredded cabbage, grated carrots, and garlic in peanut oil. Add the soy sauce and stir well. Pour in the milk and chicken stock, add the spices and carrot strips, and simmer gently for about 10 minutes. Add the crème fraîche, season to taste, and drizzle with sesame oil before serving.
