Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 small pointed cabbage
  • 1 apple (Boskoop)
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 100 ml vegetable stock
  • 4 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp walnuts, chopped
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with apple and walnuts

Peel the onion. Wash, quarter, and core the apple. Quarter the pointed cabbage, trim, and cut into very fine strips. Grate the apple and onion. Combine the broth, oil, and vinegar. Season with honey, salt, and pepper. Mix the apple, onion, pointed cabbage, and vinaigrette. Arrange on plates and serve sprinkled with the walnuts.
