Polenta – Quark – Casserole with Cherries

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 60 g butter
  • 80 g cane sugar
  • 60 g corn semolina (polenta)
  • 3 eggs
  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • 200 g cherry(s), fresh or from the jar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

gluten-free

Cream the butter until fluffy. Stir in the sugar, polenta, eggs, quark, and lemon juice. Pour 2/3 of the mixture into a baking dish, arrange the cherries on top, and pour the remaining mixture over the mixture. Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 45 minutes.
