Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 egg(s)
- 125 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 60 ml oil
- 250 g yogurt
- 1 jar cherry(s)
- 40 g poppy seeds or half a pack of poppy seed cake
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Place paper baking cups in the muffin tin and preheat the oven to 200°C (top and bottom heat) or 175°C (fan oven). Drain the cherries well. Pat dry with kitchen paper if necessary. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda and mix well. Beat the egg with sugar until frothy, then stir in the vanilla sugar, oil, and yogurt. Fold in the flour mixture. Carefully mix one-third of the batter with the poppy seeds. Stir the cherries into the rest of the batter. First, fill the cherry batter into the cases and spread the poppy seed batter over the cherry batter. Then bake for 25-30 minutes. When the muffins are golden brown, remove from the oven, let cool, and enjoy.
