Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
with apple and berry side dish
Porridge: Cut a small piece of white chocolate (as desired) into small pieces. Place the milk, oats, honey, poppy seeds, vanilla extract, and chocolate into a small, nonstick saucepan and bring to a boil while stirring. Remove the pan from the heat and cover. Let it rest for about 4-5 minutes. Side dish: Dice the apple and fry it with a little cinnamon in a small pan or small nonstick saucepan (if you like it a little sweeter, you can caramelize the apples with a little butter, sugar, and cinnamon). Next, add the frozen blueberries. You can adjust the amount to your liking. Heat the mixture until the blueberries are thawed. Finally, stir the porridge again and serve it with the berry and apple side dish on a deep plate or in a bowl. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon or vanilla sugar, if desired.
