Poppy seed cake with sour cream and vanilla pudding

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 60 g butter
  • 60 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g poppy seed paste or poppy seed mix
  • 3 cups sour cream
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder
  • 500 ml milk
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

My absolute favorite cake!!

For the base, combine 60g butter, 60g flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 pinch of salt, and 1 egg. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan and refrigerate. For the filling, cook the vanilla pudding with milk and 100g sugar according to the package instructions. Add the poppy seeds and stir in, then let cool slightly. Then add 1 cup of sour cream and spread it all over the base. For the topping, mix together 100g sugar, 3 eggs, 2 cups of sour cream, and the vanilla sugar, then spread it over the filling. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for approximately 1 hour.
