Poppy seed porridge

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 tbsp oat flakes, wholegrain
  • 4 tbsp oat flakes, flower-soft
  • 4 tbsp poppy seeds, ground
  • 2 tbsp flaxseed
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 lemon(s), juice and zest
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 800 ml milk
  • 1 banana(s), ripe, diced
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • n. B. Honey
  • n. B. Chocolate, chopped
  • possibly cocoa powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Porridge with a twist

Combine all ingredients, including the cinnamon, in a saucepan. Heat gently while stirring to prevent boilover. Allow to thicken. Season with honey or stir in chocolate (do not overmix to avoid a chocolate streak effect). Divide among bowls and serve, sprinkled with cocoa powder if desired.
