Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 ½ kg pork belly
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp sea salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat). Score the skin side of the belly in a diamond shape and rub both sides with salt and oil. Place the belly in the oven, meat side up. Roast the meat for about 1 hour, then turn it over and place it skin side up. Roast for another 30 to 40 minutes, until the meat is cooked through and the rind is brown and crispy.
