Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pork chops, each approx. 200 g
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt and pepper from the mill
  • 4 slice(s) ham, folded
  • 1 tomato(s), cut into approx. 5 mm thick slices
  • 150 g mozzarella, cut into approx. 5 mm thick slices
  • Oregano, dried

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Preheat the oven to 240 degrees Celsius (top and bottom heat). Pour the oil onto a baking sheet and heat it in the oven. Then fry the chops for about 7 minutes on each side, then remove them from the oven. Season with salt and pepper, arrange the ham, tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese on top of the chops, and then gratinate for about 5-10 minutes in the upper half of the oven. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with oregano to serve immediately. Alternatively, you can also use pork steaks.
